That's a superb photo bud! Lovely details in the close-up!

My experience with geese generally is not a happy one..Is it just me? but I seem to aggravate these ferocious creatures unknowingly..They must have that innate sense of my fear which almost always culminates in a mass attack...

I have the same trouble with horses

Thank you Jim my friend. I find these images very personally satisfying for pretty much the reasons that you state above.... the detail.

Geese and the bigger ducks try to master me by hissing at my and these days I hiss back. It seems to work, but I have not tried it with horses.

Take care buddy and have a great Sunday.

Best wishes, Brian.

Damp, your comments including the Anglias are always so good, Jethro. You are about to get a medal for the best inside comment of the month :)

About this photo: I can't help to get the feeling he has heard what the turtles can do. Now he suspects even the attention colour does not help to save him from under the water.

Inside jokes are OK as long as they don't leak Sixten especially like an Anglia gearbox.

It is the wrong way to get legless........
