JAK_7909 These two Sitka spruce trees fell recently. Note that the soil, which has much glacial silt in it, was thrown up onto the butt of the trees and has yet to wash off in the rain.
I like this shot, the row boat gives you a better idea of just how huge those fallen trees are. Like
