Evokes sentiments of the Irish tricolour. I admire the certain amount of grubbiness, it contrasts well with the precise geometry.

Warm greetings, Paul

Thank you for interesting comment, Paul.

In Europe, encode a color, but do not have many meanings in Japan.

By the way, an objection is left to the Japanese national flag not an official thing.

The red circle of the Japanese national flag is considered to be the sun,; but, in ancient Japan, the sun is a thing such as the mirrors. In other words there is not a color :=)

Interesting comment about the Japanese flag. Why the sun for the ancient Japanese had no colour? A beautiful composition of forms and colours Manda! L

KT-Manda on April 19, 2012

Grecik. It is a good question.

Please look up at the sun in the daytime.

Incidentally, although warm color is an orange and red, actual warm color must be blue. That is, it must be low-temperature in toward morning and the evening. Therefore, the temperature of thought fell with the flag with red socialism ;=)

Nice texture, but I found interesting the history about Japanese flag, I didn't know this, thanks! :)

Oh Chiara. Thank you!!!

I thank for a visit and an evaluation,Lena.

Graziano. The national flag of present Japan is not determined formally in a country, and a concept (intention) is still opaque. In other words, a duty of hoisting of the national flag is not imposed.
