Yes I did Ian, it was great. There was a local man there answering questions. He looked a real character but I wasn't able to get to him. I wish I had taken a photo though! I'm still recovering from the long journey but I will upload some more in a day or two...I think I would stay the night in Dover another time...or fly ;~D

I had not expected to go inside a mill so that was a nice surprise.

Thank you Hajni for your kind comment.

Best wishes, Rosa.

You had some great weather here dear Rosa. I like the way you have taken the formal blades and body of the mill behind the more haphazard form of the tree. :)))

How are you coping with the weather. i hope all is well. Shropshire has got off lightly - although it has been extremely wet and windy!

Cheers, Amelia

Good morning Amelia. I think we were very lucky with the weather, it was cold but bright! From two days after we came home, it doesn't seem to have stopped raining! Not too bad in North Dorset and South Somerset but I know Taunton has had extensive flooding :-( The last time I visited Shrewsbury (many years ago now) the river in the town covered many car parks...but we still enjoyed it!

Cheers, Rosa.
