R Burnett, I am a relative of the Burnetts. We live in California. My Great Grandmother was the last of the Burnetts we know of here. I came with my parents to visit Muchalls and Crathes Castle. Are you related to the Burnetts who owned/lived in Crathes or Muchalls? Laura Bruno (Rice)

Yes. My husband’s family has traced back linage to John Burnett, who immigrated to Virginia. When we went to see Crathes Castle in 2006, James referred us to Muchalls. Unfortunately, we were not able to view the inside because they were not home.
