Osprey have returned to the area in mid April. This eagle has been hanging out through winter at the osprey nest and has not relinquished the advantage point.

Good call Jean!

This year the osprey did not make it. The male got caught up in the binder twine and was not seen again.So the female abandoned the nest. However the resident eagle took up fishing.
