These cabins are so dilapidated when one gets close up, but I love the colours of them! :))

The UK has drought restrictions in place! What is it about our island that the powers that be cannot seem to store the water that falls from the sky? ;-)

I totally agree about these sheds, Amelia.

I don't quite understand the meaning of your second sentence, but I guess that you are complaining about the authorities not being able to stop the rain? :-))

They just don't seem to have the facility to store rain water! There are bans on the use of hosepipes in 7 regions of England. We have had 2 very dry winters, but now we are having one of the wettest Aprils on record. Surely there should be pumping systems in place to store water for the dry times.

Where we live we rely on water from a borehole, which is pumped up to a covered reservoir above the village. So no hosepipe ban for us - and when I go outside the rain gods are using their hosepipes! ;-)

English water companies are more efficient at raising dividends for their shareholders than constructing water storage systems, they mainly rely on natural aquifers as they do not cost anything - perhaps they should look at Norways capabilities in water saving/storage systems?
