Why, Thank you very much! I sure do appreciate you stopping by. This horse and cowboy work on the ranch near me. I am constantly in awe of the fact that they still use horses to do the jobs, and not modern conveniences. They are awesome!

I envy you MaryAlice! I've yet to capture a cowboy close up. :'( I often run into these fellows driving their trucks and when they hear I wanted to capture a picture of them on their horse they usually say "I was on one yesterday".
Thank you for sharing one so I can see what they look like! ;D

Pam: They look pretty good, don't they? I have a fine appreciation for cowboys and their horses! These two were more than willing to have their picture made. I haven't told him that he's up on Panoramio yet. I hope he won't mind! :) MaryAlice

That they do! :D Come this spring (if not sooner) I'm going to capture one! Growing up I was often at family farms and I saw those fellows all the time. Now that I have a camera they've become a scarce breed.

Pam: I really hope that this spring, or sooner, you are able to capture a beautiful, hunky cowboy and his marvelous horse in action! I'm looking forward to it already!

Smiling and proud in the saddle trusty horse! Mary Alice wonderful portrait! Excellent choice of sepia. Makes this picture out of time. It may be today as 100 years ago (the wristwatch of cow boy says that perhaps is a little higher). You live in a ranch near this? Large spaces, live in a ranch that good (being the owner of the ranch ...). Greetings. Carlo, Italy

Carlo,
Greetings, and thank you so much for commenting on one of my favorites!
Horses are another one of my huge loves! They are so magnificent and noble.
I do not live on this ranch, but I go there to walk all the time. It's just one street over from my house, an I do love it so much. It is beautiful there, and they have many horses. ( cowboys too!)
It is a grand sort of place. =)
I'm so glad that you stopped by and enjoyed this shot. Thank you for your kind and observant words.
Wishing you a wonderful Wednesday!
