Sunset Bay - Though a fairly sheltered cove, there is lots of movement, white water and sea foam during this Pacific storm hitting the coast of Southwest Oregon in late October 2010
These storms must be the highlight on ypur coast. FRED L1

schnell einmal zu diesem Inselchen schwimmen... hihi
Really dramatic composition Suzi. Well done for getting out there and capturing it. :)
Wow...I really miss the coast... Like!
Thank you all so much for your great response to this stormy image, Fred, Romina, Jethro, rojosuiza, Billy and Diane. I love the storms and big surfs, and it's easier to be in them than the cold-to-the-bone North Winds we are experiencing now. Hope you're all having a wonderful Spring. Happy greetings (O:
Doesn't look like a coosy spot to spend a weekend...
But how I would love to experience the rough seascape you get to see regulary!!
Das ist wirklich Gewaltig und Imposant. Great LIKE!!!

greetings from Bavaria, Hubs

Most of the Pacific storms we see have a little bit different 'signature', due in part to wind strength and direction, and time length of turbulence. This one was perhaps the most frothy we've seen. It's all very powerful and compelling! Glad you like this photo. Happy weekend (O:
