It's amazing how beautful the snow can stay, despite traffic, when its only humans and animals following the trail.

Greetings Hank, The snow is only touched by skis, snowshoes and the occasional boot. There has been a ton of snow the last few weeks so the depth is just outrageous. And it has been cold so the snow is still very dry. The path through the trees was beautiful.

Cheers,

Rich

Thats what we can call a narrow and white trail...

Greetings Alex, Thanks for visiting the last 300 yards to the hut and your great comment. After skiing for a couple of miles through wide open spaces it was nice to step into such a narrow corridor surrounded by snow laden trees. It was like a fairy tale setting, very quiet and very peaceful. You knew you were almost home.

Cheers,

Rich
