Its actual name is La Maison de l'Or (The house of gold) the complex in which it sits being Le Cité de l'Or. Lit from inside, at night, it becomes a beautiful, glowing golden pyramid. It houses the municipal art gallery, exhibition, conference and meeting centre (and café).
