Doerthe, this is a wonderful sculpture, happily and enthusiastically wishing godspeed. Like and fave.

This little city has many sculptures of children displayed all by the same artist. You can buy any of them at $15,000 per child, shipping costs $2,500. I recently found out about that, when I tried to get the history of this artist's work. His site said nothing about his background, but the pricelist was printed in big letters.

I like all his sculptures, though. I won't print his name, don't want to advertise for him, LOL.

PS: Ehrlich gesagt irritiert mich der Titel etwas, denn das Schiff scheint doch erst zu kommen und nicht fortzufahren, oder? In dem Fall freut sich die Mutter, dass womöglich der Ehemann heimkommt und winkt ihm zu!?
