there is no such thing as a "palestinian people"- u r talking about merely a mix of arabs from the region, some came from jordan some from lebanon some are native to israel (meaning they've been there for the last 500 years or so, jews have been there for about 5000). there never been a palestinian state and this "nation" has about 35 years of history together. therefore, u can't say "occupied palestinian territory" because they never had one.the only reason for there national feelings is the terrorist known as yasser arafat.

second, most peole assume since the "occupation" things got worse for "palestinians"- well check out how they live in arab countries nearby... and if they make trouble there... well u remember "red october"?(housain the father didn't like them..) therefore it's an arab interest to support the foundation of a palestinian state which will make 23 arab countries altogether leaving israel with a narrow already congested and strategically threatened shoreline and mosly desert wasteland. oh, and then u give them "the right of return" to this new anorexic israel and that's it. "no more jewish nusanse in the middle east" like ben laden said.

third,u should remember israel is the historical home and origin of the jewish people, there were jews in israel before islam even started in the 7th century.we know the world hates us as the alltime favorite scapegoat for all human ills so just let us live peacefully and quietly in our own land!!!

so it's true the 6 day war resolted in this very unpleasant situation for both sides but look at the big picture-peace talks never worked because no "palestinians" will never compromise on "the right of return" or will ever acknowlege the existence of israel-the jewish democratic state- two things the arab world will never feel good with are jews and democracy.

2. history and it's past agreements (oslo, camp-david ect.) prove beyond any doubt that when you give the "palestinians" any kind of freedome to do what they want and go where they want-terrorism increases because it finds the way to israeli towns much faster.

3.After the Olso accords (93-94), when in the very first time in history the "palestinians" got an autonamy, a small amount of independence, and territories in the "west bank" THE BIGGEST WAVE OF TERRORISM EVER RECORDED STARTED TO WASH ISRAEL!! the guns we gave to the PLO turned against us. and "Shahids" made using public transport and just going to the supermarket or restaurant, a huge everyday risk!! people were filled with fear. now did you consider All that when you said the wall is useless???
