Holwick Scars

Hoping for a little more spring greenery and perhaps a few bluebells to photograph, myself and old man Grimwood had a trip to Upper Teesdale but the area seems to have only just let go of winter and in fact at one point we were sat looking out of the car as snow blew by in a horizontal fashion. Anyway not to be beaten we had a go anyway and this is just one of the shots I'll be adding from that day. This amazing section of geology is Holwick Scars as seen from the roadside nearby Low Force on the river Tees which flows just out of sight beatween the fields and trees visible at the bottom of my picture.
