Having fun at Low Force

Not selected for Google Earth or Google Maps after a second review [?]

This isn't my idea of a good time but they seem to be enjoying it and at least they add a little colour to Low Force.

I hope they see this on GE Sam, probably as you thought,it could be her first attempt, rather her than me,i don't like water.

The GE gang have looked twice and don't want it. Then again it's been viewed 66 times and only you have commented so it obviously has limited appeal anyway.

This is certainly what our family likes to do in its spare time Sam - we are a bit old for this style of kayaking nowadays but still get out most weekends.... but my kids do this sort of stuff and it'll not be long before their kids start!

This is a right bobby dazzler mate... a nice splash of colour and I'm not talking about that peat stain coming down the falls.

Keep up the good work that man - Jethro

There was a time long back when I'd have gladly had a go but somehow , somewhere I lost that urge to risk life and limb in the name of entertainment . A brisk walk followed by a pub lunch with slow return stroll capturing the view is more my style now. Interesting to note GE selected your shot but not mine, such is the mystery of the selection process.

Glad you enjoyed it J, many thanks mate !

best wishes, Sam

That sounds like a right nice idea.... never thought of that!

Must try that one day - we are so besotted with cars.......

I like this one too, Sam. Plenty of interest, colour, action - and a lovely setting to boot. I live a couple of minutes from the Thames and would love to be paddling along it on a sunny day like today - stop-off at 'Ye Olde White Swan', perhaps another at..... Tried learning kayaking a few years back. Kept falling in. Gave up.

Best wishes, Brian.

Reading between the lines Brian I'm guessing the kayaking might have gone wrong as a result of the stop offs :o). I'd have to be drunk beyond belief to want to do what these were doing and I'm sure that wouldn't be the right approach lol.

Cheers for the compliment re the shot.

best wishes, Sam :o)
