Sonny, this is a thistle (distel)...a Scotch Thistle or maybe a Bull Thistle. Teasel is different, although often found together. This is good photo, though. Maybe I'll post up a thistle to show the difference. (PS, thanks for the visit a very kind comments.)

Okay George, you're right of course! I thought it was at least the same family - but isn't there one of these (thistel) on the very right side in your pic? In any case I'm not really familiar with the English names of any plants!LOL And yes, of course I'm gonna have a look!
