I got a new digital camera and a tripod for Christmas, so I've been doing a lot of shooting lately, specifically night shots with long exposure times. This 2s exposure was taken from the McCormack Gap Overlook.

Thank you tomlight, you're right, Waynesboro does look a bit prettier here than it does in the daylight =)

Bruce, McCormick gap really is a nice place to watch the sunset, and it's so conveniently close too. Glad I have a year-long pass to the park. My girfriend and I actually drove back up to Troy along the whole length of the Parkway, it was a really nice drive, even with no snow or leaves to look at.

Wow, what a neat shot Brandon! I like how you can see both the tail end of the sunset and the night lights in the town.
