Wow! I have to agree with what everyone else is saying. I just stumbled across your collection while "exploring" the Cascade Mountains in Google Earth, and I'd say you have one of the best portfolios from Central Oregon that I've ever seen. It seems as though you work very hard to find original locations and unique compositions. Great work!

Very nice photo !!! Örner
Thank you. That cloud bank actually covered the mountain for most of the sunrise hour, so I was quite relieved when it finally broke up enough to take this picture. Of course, I couldn’t have complained either way. I always feel lucky any time that I get a chance to be in the backcountry--clouds or no clouds; photo or no photo.
Superb shot.Saludos from Spain.Epi
Thanks Epi. I'm hoping to get back to this area again in a few weeks after all of the snow melts. We had a huge amount of snow in Oregon this year, which was great for skiing . . . but it has definitely delayed the hiking season.
I just got very lucky and happened to come across one of your photos. I then looked through all of your uploads. Beautiful! My home state is Oregon, and I've been to many of the places you've photographed, though not with nearly as much skill as you have. This is probably my favorite of all of your photos.
oregon17, thank you so much for the nice comments. We are very lucky to live in Oregon, and to have so many beautiful places to visit. It's been awhile since I added any photos to my panoramio site. If you want to see my newer work, you can visit my main photography site at www.pacificcreststock.com. Thanks again.
