Nice perspective here! YSL! You captured it all here...from the depths of the canyon, to the rough walls, the tiny bridge, and the mountains in the background.
This is one stop we wanted to make when we were in Colorado but gave up when snow was in the forecast. Thanks for sharing it with all of us!
Wow! Thank you for such a nice compliment JF. They have completely destroyed the area by turning the entrance into a very expensive amusement park. However you can get down below on the train and I went to an area above where you can take pictures. If you happened to be in the neighborhood it would be OK but I sure wouldn't go out of my way.
Que lugara tan bonito! Es maravilloso!
When does a gorge become a canyon?
Thank you tery & ana. tery according to wikipedia they are two words for the same thing. I got the impression that a gorge is very narrow and deep.
Like dear friend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Greetings and best wishese from Greece-Piraeus.
Unfortunately I didn't pass this bridge. We went over Grand Junction and Glenwood Springs when we came back from Utah to Denver ... it was a great trip!
