The GYFTODIMOS Costas (Costas Karageorghis), the doctor, the communist, Lieutenant of the DSE, was born in Lake Evia in 1905. From a teenager he devoted his life to the struggle for human ideals of the Communist Party. Tasted prison and exile. He escaped from Kimolos in 1941 and works in the illegal press. On New Year's Day 1943 arrives at Larissa in Thessaly as a leader. Contributed to the development of resistance organizations and EAMikon ELAS. The Civil War was named Lieutenant of the DSE. In 1949 he was wounded in the head heavy. He died in 1954 in Bucharest.
