I captured this image along the coastline between Ingonish and Neil's Harbour. Here we have what is commonly called, "angry seas". The surf has risen on a windy day and crashes on the shoreline. Some incredible wave action can be seen here during a windstorm or just afterwards. It is tremendously refreshing and easily viewed from the Cabot Trail Highway. Whatever you do, do not get close to the water's edge or stand on the rocks as this can be very dangerous and sometimes fatal! This photo was technically taken in the Parish of nearby Neils Harbour and within the Cape Breton Highlands National Park of Canada.
