I live about 8 kms from Champsac as shown on the map, yet I have never seen this chateau and I do not recognise this place as the Champsac I know.
Is this photo misplaced??
You are probably right: I was not sure of the very place where the photo has been made but I am quite sure it was between Oradour-sur-Vayre and Châlus.Then I could'nt localize the place on maps and touristic guides. Oter possibility would be somewhere in Charente limousine between Confolens and Oradour. Maybe you, or another Panoramian, could help me to identify the place. It is a nice castle indeed. Il n'y a pas ce château à CHAMPSAC.
Il s'agit du château de COUSSAC-BONNEVAL avec sa tour du diable ! Il faut donc replacer la photo sur la carte. Merci. Raymond.
