DSC08765 Alps NIRX-3D 1/14/08 - SW view

Hi, If you like to see this masterpiece in dazzling 3D, please cross your eyes until left and right images overlap in the center. The center area should appear in 3D. You can also copy the entire image and paste it to Stereo Photo Maker for full screen viewing with zoom and pan ability or changing the 3D viewing technique. This image pair from a lava cave or the purple lotus flower is good for beginners due to their simplicity.

As you may have noticed, these images are simply taken with some offset distance between them with a regular digital camera. Therefore it is also possible for you to use your regular camera to start making your own stereoscopic 3D photographs with the mentioned software and share.

Wishing you best of luck for your success on this very simple to make yet amazingly rewarding technique.

What a beautiful infrared 3D, Volkan! I love it: the contrast in the mountains, the way the cloud hangs over the scene. Yellow star for sure!

Wow - that's great! A little North and a few minutes East you can see my house ;-)

Thank you Sonny. Again, lovely places. Hope to fly over your home some day to do the Volkanzilla shots :) Best wishes, Volkan

I'm already curious ;-) In any case I'd love to see any 3Ds you happen to take from my home country :-)

Sonny, here is another one from Austria. And is closer to your home than this one :) Cheers, Volkan

Well, I think the position is not 100% correct. The mountain in front at 4 o´clock seems to be the Dachstein - so your Position shold be filzmoos

Volkan Yuksel on January 23, 2008

Michael, I relocated the position to West end of the long mountain in near middle of the picture. I couldn't find the name you're referring. If you like you can send me a location using Panoramio. Regards, Volkan
