According to the lots of aerial pics I suppose that you have your own airplane :)

Dear Polytropos,

Lots of aerials give me joy. I love exploring landscapes from the air, putting the pieces together, and seeing the landscape as if it were an open geomorphology textbook. And I love flying - in any aircraft.

I don't won a plane but I imbued my son with a passion for flying and he is a pilot, who operates a flying school. Occasionally I ride in an empty seat beside him!

And we would love to fly the valleys of Switzerland, I assure you. We have driven your valleys and ranges when he was a small child and our shared love of flying might yet be realized in Suisse oneday! :)

Thanks Ricky. I will add this photo to the group. Bundaberg is a very nice city in which to live.

Hi Berend,

As you know so well, our canals are to deliver water to the land, in contrast to yours which are removing water out of the land. You may also notice that this channel is elevated above the landscape.

I liked the uniqueness of this corner of the suburbs, though I would liked to have removed the cloud shadow.

Kind regards,

Well, tell me when it's going true, I'll book a seat too. ;-)

Ian Stehbens on May 19, 2012

I can arrange a seat for you here, Polytropos, as soon as you can come. Arranging to get to Europe and to charter a plane there may take a little more time to be realised. Come on over!
