Thank you very much, nadia!
Vielen Dank, Gudrun!

Like! Auggie

So you took our spring! We're still having 12C and rain. I'm preparing for a 160 km bike ride in the Belgian Hills, so I hope you'll send some of your weather over to our place.

©polytropos on May 16, 2012

The picture is quite deceiving, Norrel. At the moment it's pretty cold here too, with temperatures around 11-12°C. We are 'celebrating' the "Eisheiligen" (the blackberry winter, as I learned to call it in English). It's always in the middle of May, a return of the winter for 4-5 days. They are called after the holy people Mamertus, Pankratius, Servatius, Bonifatius and Sophie (only woman; still no quotas at the holys too).
Ah, to the Belgian Hills. How high are they? Higher than thehandle bar of your bike? ;-) Once I heared that the highest elevations of the Netherlands are the boobs of Linda de Mol.
Well then, take care that you don't get frost patterns on your sunglasses when driving through the Belgian Alps!

... wenn Spaniens Blüten blühen? Seit wann liegt Kirchlindach in Spanien?

Who told you that the highest elevations of the Netherlands are the boobs of Linda de Mol?

©polytropos on May 17, 2012

Wie kommst du auf Spanien, Wim? Mr. Higgins war doch Engländer. ;-)
Well, 322,7m for me is not a hill. Especially if it's necessary to mention the ,7m you can see that they have to compete for the meters ;-) 322 m is almost the lowest point in Switzerland ;-)

Wim de Vries on May 17, 2012

©polytropos on May 18, 2012
