The Moss valley...in the 1800s...was a water powered area of scythe makers, other industries and coal pits...Complete with its own railway....Photographed here through trees which wouldn't have existed at the time is the restored portion of..'Seldom seen' engine house../..Formerly known as 'Plumbley colliery' this was the scene of the drowning tragedy in March 1895 as described in my previous picture....Dj.......->>>>>>
