Smeerwortel = Symphytum officinale.

The is a wild flower. The plant is 40-100 cm high with white, pink or purple flowers. The species name officinale (from the pharmacy) indicates that the plant medical applications has traditionally been known. In particular, the carrot was collected. The plant includes symphytocynoglosine, consolidine, choline, and 0.8 to 1% allantoin.
