Cool looking towers huh? I bet you got stacks of puns like that one. Sorry,m I was just lettin' off steam.
Regardless Mark this is another great shot and post processing treatment. I love it.
Best wishes from North Carolina - Jethro
Jethro cheers for the visit and kind words. I could power a station with puns alone.
nice cooling towers! I remember visiting Ratcliffe power plant some 30 years ago, and it didn't look this nice even if they were just preparing for a good housekeeping contest review.
Thanks for the visit and comments. I've lived close to Ratcliffe Power for almost 30yrs, first time I've been that close to them I've always been in a rush to be somewhere else and driven past at speed. I made the effort to visit Redhill marina and surrounding area this Sunday. I doubt you'd be surprised to here that there is a Ratcliffe Power Plant Group on Flickr
Cool looking clouds as well. I like this. I thought "Didcot" at first glance then looked closer...
All best wishes, Andy
An excellent photo of the Ratcliffe-on-Soar power station (Coal Fired), and a perfect day for a photo. L/YS Best Regards,Hal
