Well seen! (But like a gargoyle? Great imagination on your part, or is there something you're not revealing abouit this place?).

Like. Best wishes, Andy

Hi, I actually didn't see it until I got home. It's been cropped out and enlarged. I'm really surprised, I would have thought that Gargoyles would socialise in groups after spending a century or two sat alone.

Curiously I created a Gargoyle tag a while ago.

Hi Mark,

the Gargoyle was a bit difficult to locate, But I see it! Anyway I like this kind of simple pictures.

Thanks to everyone that has taken the time to find the Gargoyle. There's nothing to hide about this shot, Andy. It is a side entrance to the Gate House of Thrumpton Hall.

Hi AVETN It's the kind of shot I like, no planning involved - just luck :-])

Jethro Had a quick look and very impressed. I have gone out of my way to find them and found nothing.

Mike Your hunch is correct, he kept going on about the BELLS

Hi Timo You've come to the right gallery for simple:) Really pleased you like this one, it's the closest I've ever got to a candid shot. I go to your gallery with good intentions and get carried away with your variety of subject and country, what an amazing life you must lead, you seem to go around the world every 48hrs.

Hi Mark,

Just seen him - he's had a skinful and is now looking very sorry for himself!

Regards, Andy

Thank you for your nice words Mark,

but it does take a bit more time to travel around the world, though. Anyway I'm happy if my pictures bring joy to others.

I enjoy Panoramio, but there seems to be too many people around nowadays, who just post cut and paste comments in hope of new hits to their gallery, without really taking a look at the picture they are commenting (in Panoramio policy this is called spamming and not acceptable). That of course would take time, which is a limited resource and thus you are limited to a few galleries to follow. I do prefer a few thoughtful comments to hundreds of cut and paste messages.

Best wishes, Timo
