Muchas gracias Arra. Il es una animal nocturnal. Saludos cordiales. Jim.
Cool! Was just there last week and never heard of them before.
It has been about in the whole of Australia and New Guinea for 15 million years so I read, but is becoming extinct on the Mainland mainly on account of urban development.
So, as you can see there are advantages living in Tasmania.
Greetings from Hobart, Jim.
Amazing ... never seen this one before, in pictures or TV I mean :D So Like & Y* with best wishes from Finland :) Ippa
Hello JIM what a lovely and cute "bambi"like animal , beautiful and interesting photo, like, all the best to down under ! :)
Hi Jim. A great photo of a sweet little animal. Was it tame, or did you get lucky. I wish we had quoll's in England. L&F
No the animal is not tame in fact quite the opposite and nocturnal. But this little fellow has become somewhat of a scavenger and was photographed near a mountain hut. The only time people normally see them is at night on the roads.
Greetings from Hobart, Tasmania. Jim.
Thank you Jim. An interesting little animal. The nearest thing that I can think of in Britain is the hedge hog. It has a similar face although a completely different species And has spines like an echidna.
