When standing at the summit, it seems that you can see for hundreds and hundreds of miles. I love the blueness of the trees on neighbouring summits. It seems that there has been some development up there in the past few years. Nice for the folk who get to live up there but sad in one respect for the countryside. I can empathise with you saying you like your peace and quiet, nothing to hear but the wind through the trees, the wildlife and the water - if you're lucky enough to be by a river. My dream would be to have an apartment in Melbourne and a house in the country. I'm one of the lucky ones who like the City and the Bush.
