Why would you want some snow, Gerry, since you have such a beautiful green scenery? Lovely photo and not at all gloomy. Very pretty the red boat-restaurant, the reflection in the canal bordered with green and trees. Great composition!

Thanks May. The weather is horrible here at the moment even though it reached 14 degrees C yesterday. It was drizzling at the time and the photo details will give you an idea of how gloomy it was.

LOL you've got green grass, the water is calm (hardly a ripple from wind or rain) and what a perfect shot with the cheery red boat in the pic!

Ya didn't have to use the flash either!

Ok Ok! So you Canadians would be running around in the nude in weather like this! This day was a lot calmer than the rain and gales of Friday so I should have been greatful! Winter will come here yet. It usually bears it's teeth briefly in March or April.

I did so much enjoy the canal and the Barrow, and the point at which one crosses the other was special. It was a gentle and lovely journey through beautiful rural and urban landscapes.

And your photography is very sensitive to its moods and character and does it justice, beautifully.
