Our friend spider

Not selected for Google Earth or Google Maps [?]

Our friend spider lives in a large cactus in our backyard, and will take food (flies) from our hands. Right now she is lunching on another (smaller) spider who carelessly wandered into her property. Note the "big" spider is less than 5 mm in length.

The big eat the little ones, this is the course of evolution! Poor little spider! But it is converted into energy :-) A great photo, Konstantin! like - Greetings from Munich, Ellen

A lucky moment (L and F) for the big spider and for you, not for the small spider. Greetings from the Ruhr in Germany!
