The rear view of buildings of a leisure complex. A soul-less design, all function and no form. Blocks congruent to blocks and vast expanses of dull, lifeless bricks.

Very nice also this one.

I guess the folk inside are too preoccupied with superficial perfection and relaxation that could be easily had with a window.

Thank you La Mugna, Palmina and Perinic. I'm sorry I somehow overlooked your original comments.

Should the rear facade be embellished. Surely this architect has made a very tidy simple and bold job of the unseen elevation. Quality functional work.

Hi JannerSnapper and thanks for your contribution. I'm not the kinda guy that gets upset (any more!) by the knowledge that the wall behind my radiators isn't completely painted.
I guess if this view was seen by very few, it wouldn't be so bad but it's on a main route for both pedestrians and traffic.
Purely as an image, though, I love it -- the block structure, the naked-blindness and the way the blocks interact with each other visually. Some careful cropping there to enhance that.
Again, thanks for expressing that view :)
I shoould say, thank heavens that this view has gone (turn right 90 from where this is shot from)
Cheers, --Mark

Mark, it's just a good architectural work, nice volumes, nice brick layers diversified and "thought",but what's on the other side? large windows???, what's inside, it's surely not a blind people's college, what's the reason the architect turned the back of the building to the traffic and pedestrians?
greetings, Damir
