Mermaids hair upon the beach,

she tried to get it back, but it was out of reach!

os that why it is stranded ?

This looks like a sketch by Gerald Scarf ~ There is a definite wild haired St Trinian's gal to be seen here ~ Well caught LGM xxx

Are you insinuating that my wig has been taken by the Norwegian breeze Bonnie Lad? You could be right. It's so much easier than a permanent hair dye, and I like to maintain a degree of sartorial elegance on the beach. ;))

I think you may be confusing me with the originator of the Yes Minister cartoons creator dear Nick. Am I flattered? Hmmm!

Sincerely yours, Ronald Searle

:D x

Yes my whole world seems to get more in a muddle these days dearest LGM~ never mind ~ thanks for spotting the blunder xxx

Dear Mr.Weall,

I cannot tell how delighted I am that you recognised my signature. As for those wild haired gels, never heard of 'em, but would like an introduction if that's at all possible. They'd add a bit of spice to life.

Yours sincerely, Gerald Scarfe

As I sit here scarfing my breakfast down, I'm gobsmacked to receive a comment from someone so great and famous as you Gerald Searle ~ you have reignited my interest in flaming skool and gym slips ~ I remember a particular red head.......

Amelia Royan on May 24, 2012

My dear boy, I wonder what you sprinkle on your cornflakes. You seem to be heading towards new heights of delirium and I fear for your sanity. Now be a good chap, resist the redhead and think positively .....

Nick Weall on May 24, 2012

The well of entertainment grows ever deeper, so now we are back at the local gymkhana and the Pony Club ~ a far cry from Jolly Hockey Sticks and fags behind the bicycle sheds ~ as to the snowy white stuff I sprinkle on my cornflakes ~ I thought it was refined white sugar ~ but who snows ~ perhaps it was something else... Redheads are strictly forbidden these days unless on come dancing ...

Maybe you should try a more balanced and wholesome breakfast dear Nick. ;-)

My first thoughts were a Dinosaur skeleton or a running Nandu;-)
