Waterford

Wow! I don't think I've ever seen such a colourful presumably industrial building! Is it still industrial (if that's what it was), or has it undergone a conversion?

Thank you for your comments Marilyn, George and Palmina. I call it an Urban Tin Chaos. Had a fragment of it uploaded in my inessa.ie. It is a really cool building; even an unknown graffiti artist was impressed and made his contribution:). Actually, the front of the building is very ordinary. It is just a shop. And it is not pink:).

Palmina, yes, it is the same Waterford. Have to upload some of crystal stuff pics one day.

Greetings Inessa, You have some really wild colors in your series here. They look nice. Our neighborhood is basically painted different shades of gray. The only color is in the trim. Nice shots. Thanks for sharing.

A lovely photo, Inessa! Whatever it was, I like the building! The stairs and the windows are very special as well as the iron spikes to keep off intruders. Very nice are the colours, the one of the facade and the fine silver grey of the iron and the different kind of roofs. Y*! Very well done to photograph this place!

Of course, if one sees it in the context of the neighbour buildings, it may look a chaos, but isn't that part of the art of photos, to focus on some deatails and show them and thus to discover the beauty in things, people usually pass by without noticing.

Thank you May, you are absolutely right. This is a busy place, a parking lot well known to every car-owner in town. I took the picture as assignment from our camera club (a fragment in inessa,ie)and worried that every second club member would have the same shot. Well, nobody did, and they were amazed why they actually didn't :)

Thank you Anne. I love to take pictures of the buildings and their parts. This building looks really fun. Perhaps the owner got a big load of tin for a good price and didn't waste a piece of it:)
