Potature drastiche non sempre sono buone!! Il primo ce la fà,il secondo prova difficoltà,il terzo ...forse è morto.

Hi Pom',

One of the few NON lavender Valensole photos! Like.

Best wishes, Andy

Pom' on May 23, 2012

well Andy in February lavender looks rather poor... even more than these poor naked and bald trees :)

Pom' You're right! Still, I don't think I've EVER seen a photo of the Valensole Plateau without lavender. Much as I love lavender, this makes quite a refreshing change!!

Best wishes, Andy

lavender is beautiful and smells good, still, it's not very good to eat. these trees are almond trees, Andy and they do deserve some attention too ;)

Bernard many thanks for LF, I appreciate !

Andy Rodker on May 23, 2012

I agreee Pom': 'You can't eat scenery'!

By co-incidence, I took dozens of shots in a beautiful almond grove in a park in the middle of Madrid only yesterday. Unfortunately, they were all blurred and I had to discard all of them! I think it may be somethiong to do with a new battery I put in just before. I put the old one back in after I realised there was a problem but it was much later and although the problem was resolved, I had no almond tree shots to share!

Best wishes, Andy
