Walport bridge. -- designed with art-deco style as all Oregon bridges along the coast. This is relatively new since the old bridge was demolished (built in the 1920s) and this one is in it's place now. Quite a history on all these bridges and who designed it in the 1930's or so. That little island at low tide is a favorite sunning spot for hundreds of seals. You may see it as brown 'rocks' from a distance. At high tide the entire bay is covered with water. Then, you'll see lots of boats crabbing the bay. As I understand it this is the best spot to catch crabs in the westcoast.
