Thanks for the comment, and I'm glad you can indentify with it, Bruce. There's another causeway in the northern half of the lake, and I've thought once or twice about seeing if it's possible to travel across it. There is supposed to be some interesting (if you like desert) things to see out in that corner of the state, so maybe someday I'll venture out there and poke around.

Hi there, dinosaur10. Thanks for stopping by for the visit. I'd say that pretty much any fresh water lake would be a bit better than the Great Salt Lake. It can be pretty at certain times, but freshwater lakes are much more pleasing, so I'm glad you've found one you like a lot.
