Hi Sonny, this one works very well fullscreen. I especially like the effect of the tee sticking out!

Das beginnt zu wabern und zu leuchten - absolute Klasse!

What does wabern mean?

michael.markler on January 23, 2008

wabern means a kind of tiny motion - I think the ethymological acces is the word Wabe, which means honeycomb. A honeycomb is the place where bees feed up their grubs. They make these motions. And wabern means this optical effect when many little units make tiny motions - I hope my English is good enough to explain this word (I think it´s used especially in Austria - there are quite a lot differences in the German spoken in different regions)

Thank you for explaining! I don't know German well enough to understand it without a translator, and it didn't know wabern either.

Brauchst du auch nicht!! Deine Augen genügen! SCHIELEN ist die Devise!

Wer zahlt, wenn die Augen so stehen bleiben (wie uns als Kinder versucht wurde weiszumachen)?!?

Tja, auf der Rückseite vom Bild steht der Hinweis "Benützung auf eigene Gefahr - Betrachter haften für ihre Augen" :-D

@ michael.markler

I think it´s used especially in Austria

It's used in Middle Germany too ... ;-)
