Hi Annemarie I was wondering if somebody would make the connection to the painting by Vermeer. Thank you!!!!!!
I think my milkmaid was really enjoying life.
Love,
Eva
Hello Bartolomeo. I don´t even want to tell how long ago that was. But it was a very long time ago.
Now the milk is not collected like this anymore. These jugs (porongos) were filled and then brought down from the sierra (the mountains) to Lima. Our milkman sold his milk directly from these jugs. I didn´t even boil it. It was deliciously fresh and had a wonderful taste. I could even make my own yogurt.
The good old days???
Greetings from a very old lady,
Eva
Mónica, thank you so much! Thank you so much for inviting me to your group, Grace moments to share, but I am trying to reduce the groups I am already in. Maybe at a later date?

Your title is the same as the title of a famous Dutch painting from the painter Vermeer. I like your milkmaid better!
