Raise The Flag

This is the frontage of The Kenwood Inn in St. Augustine. It's a very inviting place, one I'd happily stop at.

I might not be a Yank but I love their open patriotism and flag waving... and the old Red White & Blue are lovely colours... Another nice shot Lee!

Thanks mate, I agree American patriotism fascinates me too, probably because I'm the opposite. I'm certainly not proud of my country. I'm not one for all that flag waving, but I do like to see when they put flags outside their houses. Patriotism is instilled in American's from an early age me thinks :) Only a few years ago, we weren't allowed to have flags in our gardens incase it upset the foreigners, but they are allowed to fly there own flags from where ever they come from, but thankfully no ones pays attention to the authourities now.

america... america.....! flag combinates with the flowers in the garden...it looks like a great house too... was this a kind of a restaurant? like

Thats it Els, exactly why I took it, the combo of the flag and those pretty flowers, very inviting. It's not a restaurant, but more like a fancy B&B (Bed & Breakfast). I looked it up, its rather pricey, I'd never pay those kinda prices, lol.
