Very lovely shot, Palmina. I love the orange flowers on the far bank and the little patches of grass in the middle of the river! :)
Greetings, DeEtte

Thanks DeEtte yes the flowers were lovely They are all the way down the river bank. This river runs many miles and ends up going through Melbourne and then out to sea. It is so clear and fresh up in Warburton, but by the time it gets to Melbourne they call it the "upside down river" (because all the mud floats to the top!)

Thank you May The Yarra River is lovely up in the hills, it only gets "muddy" as it gets nearer town. I'll have to get a close up of the flowers next time I go up there for you.

The composition of this scene is very nice because everything is not all together. There is lots of texture and contrast and the colors are not all in one place. Very nice capture!

Thank you Julie glad you like it. It is a wonderful spot to stop for a cool drink or a coffee. Theres a great little bistro just oppisite that has the most lovely vine shaded patio. Really nice in Summer.
