tony, that looks VERY dramatic in its b/w appearance!

That one you like has an opposite of its own: North Queensferry

Hope you enjoy the other parts of that great bridge as well as this one :))

cheers michael

Shots for August Vote

Scally, on August 8, said:

If only there was a bit of colour in this photo it would have been one of your best.:-(

Tony Reid, on August 9, said:

Scally - This shot was taken late in the day on NYE. The original colour was not that great due to the poor light. Believe me, it looks so much better like this!

Cheers, Tony

My Other Mono Shots

It,s a good photo tony I,d be proud of it,BUT where does one find such a good Shadow late in the day on hogmonay with the sun setting to your rear I.E. West. You must have started the Party early LOL cheers scally, IT IS STILL A GREAT PHOTO!

Tony Reid, on August 9, said:

Scally - This was taken between 3.30pm and 4pm. There wasn't too many ahadows - just a great reflection off the water.

Also see my Road Bridge, where I am pointing my camera to the west.

I think it's now the way we are used to see. The b/w shots we like are mostly technical shots

Wow, Tony, speak and you shall behold. Thanks for the link to this wonderful photo! Do you know, I had never realised what a complicated structure it is. No wonder it's a continuous job to paint it then.

I am off to look at your road bridge now.....

cheers Tony, Sue x

Sue Allen, on August 28, said:

Wow, the road bridge is like a study of lace and glass. Are they really reflections of the vertical struts on the water, or a mirage. Fantastic job. I like that 'marginally' better than this one, even.

Bye again, Cheers Sue :)

Tony Reid, on August 29, said:

Sue - I marginally prefer this shot of the two bridges! The other shot is an example of how photo editing can work. It was origanlly a very gloomy shot that I was very disappointed in.

Cheers, Tony
