The Iron Door Saloon is a bar and restaurant in Groveland, California. Its propietors claim it to be the oldest continuously operating bar or saloon in California.

The site is believed to be named for the iron fire doors with which the building is equipped.

Hi Everyone, My name is Raph and I grew up in Groveland. There used to be an ice cream parlor just down the boardwalk from the old saloon. Many hrs there as a kid. In the forties, or fifties my late father Joe Brunette used to bartend in that place. He would tell us stories about how crazy it would get in there. A really cool place for a kid to grow up.
