Ready For The Off...

Taken at Brownhills West station, a popular tourist spot for fans of steam train journeys. Trust us to turn up on a drizzly overcast day when they weren't using the steam engines :( The station is within Chasewater Country Park

Oooooh Lee, it's so English! :-) Must be the weather along with that station building...

Do they ever have to worry about the steam trains causing fires over there Lee? Everything is always green isn't it? (That's a dinkum question :-))

LOL Caroline...fair dinkum...I've not heard that term since I watched Neighbours years ago, haha. I'm sure steam trains do cause fires, but they are before my time. I only saw my first steam train since I was a teenager a few weeks back. So I have no idea if they do that. You only find them on small private lines mainly for tourists, like this one. But that day, they were using this big ugly diesel engine, its just not the same. As for everything being green? Most of the year it is, well spring through summer, especially if its rainy, like it is
