National Park Plitvice Lakes, called Plitvička jezera in Croatian, is a national park in Croatia, which form a set of sixteen lakes, connected by 92 waterfalls and small rivers tormented, It is both the most old national Parks of Southern Europe and the largest in Croatia. It was created 8 April 1949 and added to the list of World Heritage by UNESCO in 1979. Roger.
