Harbor seals. They forage on the night shift off the edge of the continental shelf, so daytime is sleepy time for them. Notice how the different coat colors and patterns camoflage them on the shoreline rocks. Hopkins Marine Station next door to the MB Aquarium has a fenced beach where the Harbor seals give birth in April. Its a great free show, and the pups are pretty darned cute.
