Im Jahre 1893 wurde das imposante Eingangsportal mit der neugotischen Kapelle eingeweiht. Der achteckige Ziegelbau mit seinen beiden Ecktürmen wurde von Paul Rowald entworfen. Der Friedhof hat eine Größe von 55 ha und seit 1891 fanden hier 170.000 Menschen ihre letzte Ruhestätte. Stadtfriedhof Stöcken
