Der Zugang war früher in Höhe des oberen Bogenfensters. Erst 1731/33 wurde die ebenerdige Tür in das 2m starke Mauerwerk gebrochen. Die schwere Eisentür verschloss einst die Sakristei der Pfarrkirche.
